Jessica Welsh, The Founder of The Independence Crew.

Our Story

Jess’s entire working career has involved caring, supporting, and nursing in some form. Beginning her working career as an animal carer Jess’s love for helping grew and began to transform and she started to ask herself the question ‘What can I do to make a difference?’. In 2013, Jess went on to work in the community as an aged care worker and onto in-home carer and becoming an enrolled nurse all the while growing, nursing, and nurturing her 7 children.

In late 2020 when the question, “What can I do to make a difference?” was still lingering in Jess’s mind, Jess made the decision to sit down and work out if I were to build a business what would I want the business to embody? And so, The Independence Crew was born. A place where your independence is what matters to us and where we can support you in achieving everything from the smallest task to your biggest dreams!
